Vinyl Installation
Once we've prepared your substrate, your luxury vinyl floor is ready to be installed. Vinyl can be installed with one of three different techniques: full spread (adhesive applied to the entire substrate), perimeter adhered (adhesive applied only to seams & perimeters) or floating (no adhesive). As with any other flooring product, it’s important to be prepared and know what to expect.
Depending on the type of vinyl you have selected for installation, the process will vary in duration. Adhesive installations can either be self-stick or glue-down. The latter takes longer because adhesive must be applied before the flooring is laid, whereas self-stick vinyl comes with the adhesive already applied.
Floating floors, on the other hand, take relatively little time to install. These floors can be installed directly over existing flooring with no adhesive. Tiles or planks simply click and lock together into a watertight surface.
No matter what product you've selected, you can be sure that our professionals are experienced in quality and efficiency.
After installation, you’ll need to make sure your room has good ventilation. You can help ensure good air flow by opening up windows, turning on fans and taking other steps to air the room out for about 48 to 72 hours. Then, it’s up to you to care for and maintain your new vinyl floor.
